What is LDPE?

Low-density polyethylene, or LDPE, is a type of thermo-plastic which is made from the monomer ethylene. Due to the fairly translucent, durable, and flexible, this plastic material is frequently used in film applications. It's also applied in the production of various lids and flexible containers, cable and wire applications.

LDPE Film has great durability - there is no attack / no reaction, with dilute acids and concentrates, alcohols, bases, and esters.

Also, it has good resistance -slight attack and very low chemical reaction, to aldehydes, ketones, and vegetable oils.

Poor resistance and not considered for use with halogenated hydrocarbons.

Drought tolerance - a significant reaction or chemical reaction, suitable only for some short-term use, for mineral oils, fatty, aromatic hydrocarbons, and oxidants.
